It's All Text! - Firefox Extension →
Did I ever make a note about this FF add-on? Well, it doesn’t matter because even if I did, it is worth mentioning again. It places a little “edit” button on roll-over next to text fields in a web page, thus allowing one to edit the contents of the page in an external text editor. Very useful for Textpattern development or any long text editing online.

Home-made yoghurt
After finding that yoghurt yesterday, I decided to check if The Force is strong with it and use some as a starter. I was raised on home made yoghurt and as a child finished off a 500ml jar each evening so making a litre feels a bit like a joke to me, but was sufficient as a test. I got briefed on procedures by my mother who, perhaps unsure after not making it all these years, consulted a friend...

Harry-Potter-land
Years back, just after the break of former Yugoslavia.. oh quite some years back.. there used to be a rough joke. Some country — Bosnia, for instance — suddenly decides to fly over several Ami cities and throw some round heavy things. After doing so, they sit and await anxiously an answer-attack but nothing comes. They wait and wait, and finally their imaginary president picks up the...

Here is not like there
My mom leaves the TV on all day, so while I’m in Sofia I get maximum cultural exposure including those TV shop commercials with the guy with golden rings and armbands. One morning, my attention got caught by what perhaps was a selling statement for a grater, stating that “since paprika is expensive, we can slice one for a salad and..”. Obviously, the translation was done directly...
