I recalled
.. that when I was small I used to sometimes put my ear onto my mom’s back and listen to the mixed sound of her heart and whatever she was saying.

I’m trying to figure out two very simple things: How to Live, and How To Die....

Great to see her talk, finally. I admire this woman. (Goon, you have to watch this!)
Michael Jackson-Don't Stop Til You Get Enough -... →
Alright, since everyone has been all Jacko right now, here is my most favourite Jackson song. Believe it or not, there was a time in my teens when I had a MJ poster on my wall and while listening to this track, each muscle of my body wants to dance. ‘Nough said.
To my Greenpeace friend at the corner:
Campina stopped using genetically modified materials most probably because otherwise they would have sold less. With your post cards or without them. Even worse - why waste so much paper on postcards when you can just bloody try educate everybody to contribute to not using so much paper? Greenpeace is turning ridiculous sometimes.
UTF vs. server configuration
Lost good 3 hours fighting with a TXP installation on a Russian server. All Cyrillic encoding was messed up under database UTF-8 and all other UTF-8 goodness. I noticed that when I change the browser viewing settings they would constantly jump back to Cyrillic Windows-1251. This went on for some time and a conversation with Thorti, during which I went like a digital Colombo through the evidence.

Still hot..
..up here. A quick onlinne check shows that the paralel universe does well without me. I am doing quite well without it myself. With a few exceptions. Very few.
p.s. I demand zero tumblarity. Nothing less would satisfy me.
Tram Nr.8
..is the closest I get to a memory lane. Only it now has a ticket machine. There was the stop I once sat and talked with Anthon at, then there was that other stop I’d meet Mal at, and the stop me and Goon would go off at. And so many other stops between. It seems like since I still remember, there must be less change than what the eye sees.
600 above sea level
Hot Sofia, aching muscles. I am fighting with the keyboard of Goonie’s asus eee and carying a haze in my head. Every time I am here, I lose sense of time.
I'm trying not to forget
…to close the window, to switch the electricity under my table off, to get my eticket. To get my brain. How many things can one forget? I try to count the t-shirts I packed and if I got my toothbrush. I try to remember. And to forget.
See you ..whoever you are…soon, in orbit.
General [Colmar Freiherr] von der Goltz said Prussian soldiers would take this...
– So, what the hell went wrong with us that we are a nation of twats currently?

Random thoughts Nr. 75, or something
One day after I posted this video, an acquaintance wrote to um.. inform me that he needs a website and if I would be interested in the matter. I’m a web designer (or builder/maker/concept creator and all sorts of things in between). This is how I earn my living. So, there was an email that started up with a lengthy introduction to the subject of the matter, a number of praise about my work...

Did I tell you the one..
.. about me killing a long-standing infestation of Sciaridae by sitting ill with the flu in the same room as the misfortunete plant that was their home? Well, I might as well skip it. I just recalled that someone took me for being funny some time ago and I don’t feel like feeding such a (false) perception. Goodnight.
